A fisherman can obtain fish, shrimps, crabs and mussels and even rare aquatic life while canoeing at the lake. It is not easy, so practice first.

Fisherman is a gathering type Life Skill that allows the players to catch mainly fish but also some shellfish (crustaceans like shrimps, prawns, crabs, lobsters and molluscs like dams) from various shoals located throughout China. Players learn this profession by purchasing it from a Fisherman Life Skill Master. The price will depend on what other gathering skills are already learned. Upon learning the skill, players:

  • are given 1 Fishing Rod (lowest level type)
  • are granted 20 Fisherman Life Skill Experience points
  • are allowed to challenge the "Fishing-Rod Grasping Child" identity
  • can perform the Fisherman's Daily Task.

To use this life skill, players must have a fishing rod in their backpack.

The resources gathered through fishing and fish dissection are used by Cooks, Herbalists, and Poison Masters.

Fish Dissection[edit | edit source]

Players can dissect caught fish by right-clicking them in the backpack to obtain the Fish's Anatomical Materials.
