Story[edit | edit source]

The Wudang Sect began during the Ming Dynasty. The famous Taoist Zhang Sanfeng established the Sect on Wudang Mountain near the city of Jun, located in Hubei province.
Wudang is renowned for its mountain range: Mount Canshang and Mount Taihe are two of the most well-known and their soaring peaks and deep valleys have inspired generations.
In fact, in ancient times it was thought that the main peak, Tianzhu Peak, propped up the sky. In addition, Wudang Mountain is known as “nature’s pharmacy” for there are over 400 different kinds of herbs that grow there.

Sect Position[edit | edit source]

They believe in the theory of ‘conquering the unyielding with the yielding’.
The mental cultivation methods of Wudang can be regarded as the fist of internal force. It belonged to the Quanzhen school of Taoism.
Its disciples often went down the mountain to save the people. This faction is as famous as Shaolin and is held in high esteem in the Jianghu.
Wudang is a Righteous Sect.

Sect Rules[edit | edit source]

Each sect has its own rules and regulations, which lead to “Rule Points”, which, when they reach a certain level, incur sect penalties.

Being dressed incorrectly 10 points
Killing Excessively (Evil point > 2000) 20 points
Committing Evil (Kidnap trading) 10 points
Committing Evil (Raiding Escort) 20 points
Committing Evil (Raiding Prison) 30 points
Harming the same sect (including Guild War) 40 points

When a player’s “Rule Points” exceed 100, and they enter a sect’s scene, they will be teleported directly to the sect; an animated punishment will be broadcast, the player’s Life (HP) will be halved and a strength weakening BUFF will be attached to them for a stipulated time period.

Rank[edit | edit source]

You gain school reputation through your assignments and your training.
You will be able to challenge NPCs from your school which hold a higher rank. If you win the fight you will gain their title and obtain the outfit which is paired with your new rank.

Sect Outfits[edit | edit source]

As they grow in strength and rank, players will be rewarded with sect outfits which are only available to members of the Wudang sect.
